According to the Camera Shot Quiz project, we had to pick an inanimate object and develop a visual story about the object using fifteen pictures. This project helped us to understand how to properly develop a picture using a shot/angle. We chose various shots and angles to represent the different part of the story we were telling. I really enjoyed the class where my teacher went over how all of the shots worked. It really helped me have a better understanding on how to complete the shots correctly.
My partner and I decided to make a storyline about markers and pens in high school. Our idea behind using markers and pens as our inanimate objects was to represent the two main different types of groups you would see in a high school movie. The pens who were considered the nerds, and the markers were considered the popular kids. The story we created was about a marker and a pen who met and fell in love. The markers and pens were not happy about this couple. The two groups didn't like one another at all. Although it wasn't easy and it took some time, but in the end they all become one big happy friend group. I think we could’ve done better on choosing a different location for every different shot but other than that I think we did a pretty good job for our first project.
