Music Marketing #1 for Electr!fy’s Brand

 Behind the Buzz: Planning Electr!fy’s Marketing Campaign

Creating a marketing plan for Electr!fy, our fictional electronic band, was an exciting challenge. Here’s a quick look at how we combined research, creativity, and strategy to connect their bold music with the right audience.


Step 1:Marketing

We started by studying trends in electronic music marketing:

  •  Platforms like TikTok and Instagram would give our fan base some exciting content to keep up with like little snipits of our music video.
  •  Spotify and Apple Music would be where our fans would find new music
  • Striking, neon visuals draw attention and make us more memorable to our fan base.

We also looked at campaigns by artists like coldplay and Artic Monkeys to learn from their success.


Step 2:Electr!fy’s Brand

 Fans between the ages of 18 and 30 who enjoy vivid, shareable music experiences are the target audience for the striking, neon aesthetic and upbeat sound our band has to offer which makes us unique.

Step 3:The Campaign

Here’s our step-by-step plan:

  1. Teaser clips and a TikTok challenge to build excitement for a fan base.
  2. Launch on multiple streaming platforms and host a virtual concert for fans that cant attend.
  3. Partner with big influencers to keep fans engaged and to keep up with whats trending.

Through this process, we learned how to create a campaign that feels exciting and real by mixing creativity and data. Electric!fy Despite being a work of fiction, their approach is based on actual success.
