Hey Cambridge! For this blog post, I wanted to share the script for my second CCR, which I filmed in a fun and creative way. Instead of a traditional response, I took inspiration from the viral "What do you do for a living?" TikTok trend and put my own spin on it. My main focus was how my product engages with audiences and how it would be distributed as a real media text, while also touching on how it uses or challenges conventions. Since my film is a romantic comedy centered around digital communication, I realized traditional distribution wouldn’t fit. Instead, platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels would be perfect since they match how my target audience consumes content. That’s why I answered my CCR in the same format—acting like someone in a "What do you do for a living?" TikTok, giving a "house tour" of my filmmaking process. This made the CCR fun, engaging, and in line with my film’s theme. Instead of just explaining how my film would reach audiences, I was actually showing it in action. It was a great way to make the CCR feel like real, entertaining content while still answering the question effectively.
