inspo for my genre!!

Hiiiii im back. As I said in my first blog post about this project, I want to showcase all my skills and knowledge and what I must do to achieve those goals. and got my thinking after I wrote my plot, what genre I think would be most fitting and drumroll, please... I chose a romantic comedy! I've always been drawn to watching cringey yet intriguing love stories that make you laugh and reeled in on the character's love story. So, I decided to finally make one of my own at just the ripe age of 16. I think adding a funny twist on a somewhat romantic movie that I'm going to make will be a great use of the amazing genre of romantic comedy.

When I was coming up with what I wanted to do for this project i was thinking about all the cringey yet cute romcoms I had watched over the years and it made me think of this idea and put my own twist on it. The first movie I could think of was To All the Boys I've Loved Before. Which was made in 2018. In the movie. She writes letters to all of her crushes and then. Her sister mails them out Because she was really sad and wanted a boyfriend. In the end She ended up choosing one of the boys that the letter got sent to, but a bunch of people had responded to her letters saying that they also liked her too, and that made me think of a little twist I could put on my own story. But in more of a virtual way as in the guy mysteriously texting her because he saw her in class and thought she was pretty. Anyways thats it for now talk to all of you Cambridge friends later!!!
